South Main closed for RR-crossing work till mid-December

VOORHEESVILLE —Starting on Monday, Oct. 16, South Main Street (Route 201) in the village of Voorheesville will be closed for railroad-crossing construction.

Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 15.

The closure will include the Prospect Street intersection and extend to Grove Street, according to a release from the Albany County Department of Public Works.

Signed detours will be in place for County Route 201 and Prospect Street. Access to Foundry Road from the north will be kept open.
