Free Senior Legal Aid, learn about HEAP

To the Editor:

Free Senior Legal Aid Services will be available on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Knox Town Hall by appointment only.

If you have any legal concerns, please call me at (518) 872-9400 to set up an appointment.

Also, the day before, on Tuesday, Oct. 10, Eileen W. Bosworth, director of Albany County Health and Human Services, will present information on HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) for this year.

This program will take place at the Berne Community Center located on Route 443 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Come to the center, have lunch at noon, and listen to the presentation.

To make reservations for the meal, call Karen Stark at (518) 937-5963. This is the only presentation that will be held in the Hilltowns for this year's applications.
