Choosing to be safe rather than sorry

To the Editor:

Ask yourself, if the same people who are filing a federal lawsuit against the state health commissioner over state-mandated face coverings at school wouldn’t also sue the state and the school for failing to protect their children if they got sick and or died from COVID if the school had not mandated masks [“Jeff Thomas, four other parents, file federal lawsuit over mask mandates”].

You cannot please these people because they are irrational. The school administrators are damned if they do and damned if they don’t! Thank God they are choosing to be safe rather than sorry. The children will understand.
