— John E. Evans of Schenectady completed his graduate studies in August at the State University of New York College at Oswego with a master of business administration degree in accounting. He also earned a bachelor of science degree, cum laude, in accounting from SUNY Oswego;

— Talia Zisman the daughter of Dr. Lawrence S. Zisman and Dr. Debra S. Blog of Slingerlands, graduated cum laude after majoring in biology at Bates in Maine. She is a 2012 graduate of the Emma Willard School;

— Christopher Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elliott A. Shaw of Delmar, graduated magna cum laude after majoring in English and anthropology at Bates College in Maine. He is a 2012 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School;
