Richard N. Rodino
SLINGERLANDS — Richard N. Rodino, a restaurateur, died on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, in his Slingerlands home surrounded by his loving family. He was 69.
Born on Sept. 29, 1955 in Troy, he was the son of the late Amedeo and Anna Rose Carlotti Rodino and the beloved husband of Lori Bernard Rodino.
“A graduate of La Salle Institute in Troy, Rick spent his early years in Troy,” his family wrote in a tribute. “Rick continued his education following high school in Paul Smith’s College and the Florida Institute of Technology.
“Rick owned and operated several local restaurants and ultimately retired from Million Air in the Albany International Airport where he enjoyed the various tasks assigned to him.”

Richard N. Rodino is survived by his wife, Lori Bernard Rodino; his four children, Giulia DuBray (Nick), Rick Rodino (Courtney), Anthony Rodino, and Gianna Rodino; his two brothers, Salvatore “Sam” Rodino and Joseph Rodino; and countless other family and friends.
His parents died before him, as did his daughter, Rachel Rodino.
Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland, on Sept. 22, “in the Rodino Family Plot where Rick will join his daughter Rachel,” the tribute said.
