VFW hosts chicken dinner

To the Editor:

Altamont’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post is hosting a Chicken and Biscuits Dinner on Oct. 2.

For a $13 donation, diners will get chicken and biscuits, gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, and dessert.

The dinner, held at the Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, at 11 Mill St. in Altamont, is drive-through only, from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2.
