BBQ to benefit BKW backpack program

To the Editor:

A chicken barbecue and bake sale will be held at the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 28, from 3:15 to 6:15 p.m.

Please call me, Colleen DeMuth, at 518-872-2538 to pre-order dinner by Tuesday, Sept. 25, for $12 each or pick up a order form at the elementary school. The cost will be $15 the day of the event.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the BKW Elementary Backpack program which provides food to local families on weekends during the school year through our partnership with the Regional Food Bank.
