Cowardice and Corruption: An ode to the Pyramid Corporation

To the Editor:

Driving home to McKownville today — upbeat, optimistic, positive.  Western Avenue approaches, traffic stops. Can mean only one thing: accident in the Crossgates approach.

How many years? How many injuries? How many deaths? How has this been allowed to persist?

Shame to all levels of government. Shame to all of us who have failed to stomp our feet. Shame to our reverence of profit over people.

Why do we revere this soulless corporation? Why do we make excuses for them? Why do we make excuses about our inaction?

Cowardice and corruption are not inevitable, they are choices. How long before we choose differently?
