GUILDERLAND — Guilderhaven will be at the town’s hazardous waste and shredding day on Sept. 17 collecting food, blankets, and towels from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Here is a reminder of upcoming events:

— Sept. 18 is the Village Vet fun run and walk in Voorheesville to benefit Guilderhaven. There is still time to enter with your furry friend or regular friends;

— Our 15th annual “Gathering of Friends” is Oct. 6 at Mallozzi’s on Curry Road. There are a limited amount of tickets. For information or tickets, call me, Sue Green, at 861-6861.
