Join us for our first Altamont Fall Fun Day

To the Editor:
Altamont Community Tradition is excited to announce our inaugural Altamont Fall Fun Day! Join us in Orsini Park on Saturday, Sept. 24, (rain date of Oct. 1) for a day full of fun activities for everyone.

Activities kick off at 10 a.m. with our very own, amazing local author and historian, Keith Lee, who will be giving walking tours of the village.

Our wonderful librarian, Joe Burke, will be unveiling a traveling mural that was created in Albany’s South End at the Howe Branch of Albany Public Library! This will take place outside of our Altamont Free Library at 11:30 a.m.

Our activities in Orsini Park begin at noon. Come enjoy an afternoon full of food, music, games, pumpkin painting, and so much more!

Stop by Altamont Free Library’s tent to record your stories and memories of Altamont for posterity.

Yankee Holler will be providing music from noon to 2 p.m. and Sydney Worthley from 2 to 4 p.m.

All activities in the park are free, including everybody’s favorite cider donuts, cider, and popcorn courtesy of Phillips Hardware! Food trucks will also be on site with a variety of hot and cold food items for purchase.

We look forward to a day of bringing our community together!

A huge thank-you to our incredibly generous sponsors; without them this event would not be possible!

Our major sponsors are Fenimore Asset Management, Leanne Royer-CM Fox Real Estate and Troy Miller-CM Fox Real Estate, The Bunker, Brother’s Pressure Washing.

Silver sponsors are One Love Preschool, The Grounds Guys, D2 Creative Studios, TCP Home Services, Lindsey Giagni-State Farm Insurance, Phillips Hardware, Curry Patta, Salon 146, Farm Share Studio, and Kevin Pittz-Edward Jones Investments.
