PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Local Law #3 of 2016 has been introduced by the Town Board of the Town of Berne. This Local Law is entitled “Town of Berne Hydraulic Fracturing and/or Hydrofracking Law”.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a public hearing on proposed Local Law #3 for 2016 will be held at the Berne Town Hall, Berne, New York at 7:15 PM on the 14th day of September, 2016 and that an opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to those favoring passage of such proposed Local Law and also to those opposed thereto.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Special Use Permit   # 584

Special Use Permit Application # 584:  Application submitted by Jane Twomey of Wren & Rail LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow for the housing and operation of a mobile “food coach” on a site owned by Mr. Guyette. Article II, Section 190-12(D)(17) requires that a Special Use Permit be obtained to allow for “Restaurants and taverns”. Mr. Guyette’s site is located within the Residential Agricultural Zoning District on New Scotland South Road and is identified as tax parcel # 84.-1-44.11.

Hearing will take place on September 6, 2016 at the New Scotland Town Hall beginning at 7:00 P.M.

The taxable inhabitants of the Guilderland, Mohonasen, Schalmont, and South Colonie School District, TAKE NOTICE:  I, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, have received the warrant for the collection of taxes for the 2016-2017 school fiscal year, and have fixed the following dates for receiving taxes: 

Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except holidays); Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during September AT THE GUILDERLAND TOWN HALL, Route 20 as of September 1, 2016. No interest fee through September 30, a 2% interest fee from October 1 through October 31, 2016.

No collection of school taxes will be accepted after October 31, 2016

Postmarks of October 31, 2016 will be accepted.

The tax roll and all unpaid taxes will be turned over to Albany County on November 1, 2016 thereafter the additional fee will be 5% plus interest.

Notice is hereby given that I have received the tax list and warrant for the collection of school taxes in the Voorheesville Central School District.

I will receive all taxes for a period of 60 days beginning September 1, 2016 at the place listed below.  During the 30 day period from September 1, 2016 through September 30, 2016inclusive, there will be no penalty charge for the collection of the tax.
