Zacharek named VP at SUNY Cobleskill

John Zacharek has joined the State University of New York college of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill as its new vice president for development.

He will implement and oversee donor cultivation, college advancement, and alumni affairs. In addition to serving on the president’s cabinet, he will be working with the college’s foundation board and alumni association.

Zacharek comes to Cobleskill from Binghamton University, where he served as executive director of development, responsible for the university’s central development programs for major gifts, regional development, and corporate and foundation relations. He previously held positions at SUNY Onondaga Community College, Syracuse University, and Upstate Medical University.

Zacharek is graduate of the Binghamton University School of Management.
