Tomboys choose new officers

BETHLEHEM — At its September meeting, the board of directors of the Bethlehem Tomboys Girls’ Softball League unanimously elected Mark Ciafardo as its new president.

Ciafardo, of Middleburgh, replaces former League President Sean Edmunds, who served in the position for the past four years. Ciafardo currently is head coach of the Middleburgh High School Knights Varsity Softball Team and the Schoharie Valley Lady Thunder 18U team.

The board also unanimously elected: Secretary Anthony Apuzzi of Delma, Vice President of Recreation Emery Patterson of Glenmont, Vice President of Travel Leagues Mike Traynor of Slingerlands, and Treasurer Lindsay Knott of Glenmont.
