To the Editor:

We would like to thank Emily Vincent, her husband, Eric, and all the volunteers, local farmers, businesses, and organizations that made Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Family Farm Day at Two Rock Ranch such a huge success this past Sunday.

It was such a joy to see something so positive and uplifting in our town that day, and it is farmers like Emily, along with Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s Future Farmers of America and the many other agriculture-based businesses in our town who make Berne’s vision of maintaining and growing its agriculture base a reality.

We applaud Emily and all Berne farmers, small business, and agri-business owners for doing what they do every day, for sharing the fruits of their labor, knowledge, and expertise with us, and for helping to keep Berne the wonderful place to live and raise a family that it truly is.
