Collection boxes overflowed

To the Editor:

The Friends of the Berne Library would like to thank the Berne-Knox community for its generosity in our School Supply Drive.

Collection boxes at the Berne Public Library and at the East Berne Post Office were overflowing with supplies from crayons to knapsacks to pens and pencils. These school supplies have been taken to the Hilltowns Community Resource Center and they will be distributed to those in need.

Thank you for your help in getting our students off to a good start this school year!
