PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Town of Rensselaerville will hold a Public Hearing on September 15, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY on a proposed Minor Subdivision for Paul J. Baitsholts, 242 Gifford Hollow Road, Rensselaerville, NY (Tax Map 126.-1-13.1). The applicant is proposing to subdivide a 55.532 acre lot into one 46.569 acre lot and one 8.963 acre lot.
All those interested in this proposal will be provided with the full opportunity to be heard on the date of the Public Hearing. Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. LEGAL NOTICE
Resolution to expend from a capital reserve fund and a repair reserve fund for building improvements.
Whereas, pursuant to General Municipal Law, Section 6-g. The Knox Fire District, Town of Knox, County of Albany, State of New York, did establish the Building Capital Special Reserve, a capital reserve fund to finance the acquisition and improvement of real property for the storage of firefighting apparatus and equipment and for the social and recreational use of the firefighters and residents of the fire district and for any of the purposes authorized by law.  In addition, a Repair Reserve Fund was established to finance the cost of major repairs and capital improvements or equipment; and
Whereas, the Board of Fire Commissioners has agreed to enter into contracts for the installation of an air conditioning system for the meeting room, the relocation of garage bay doors and residing of the wall, and replacement of a concrete apron in front of the relocated garage bay door for an agreed upon price of sixty-three thousand two hundred ninety-seven dollars and forty-three cents ($63,297.43); and
Whereas, there are currently funds in the Building Capital Special Reserve Fund in excess of sixty-three thousand two hundred ninety-seven dollars and forty-three cents ($63,297.43) and
Whereas the Board of Fire Commissioners has agreed to enter into a contract for the replacement of the boiler system for an agreed upon price of eighteen thousand four hundred eighty-five dollars and sixty-five cents ($18,485.65); and
Whereas, there are currently funds in the Building Repair Reserve Fund in excess of eighteen thousand four hundred eighty-five dollars and sixty-five cents ($18,485.65) and
Now, therefore be it resolved that the Knox Fire District is hereby authorized to spend from the Building Capital Reserve Fund an amount not to exceed sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) and from the Building Repair Reserve Fund an amount not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to allow for incidental and unforeseen expenses.
Notice to residents of the Knox Fire District located in the Town of Knox, Albany County, State of New York that the following resolution was adopted by the Knox Board of Fire District Commissioners at a regularly scheduled meeting on August 9, 2022.

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Altamont held on the 6th day of September 2022, a Resolution was duly adopted, an abstract of which follows, which Resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to New York Village Law Article 9.
The Village Board of Trustees authorized for the Village to expend up to $5,000 from the General Fund Reserve, subject to permissive referendum, for repairs of the firehouse veneer area by AJS Masonry, LLC.
