EAST BERNE — George and Genevieve Ward of East Berne announce the birth of their first child, George Andrew Ward V.

George was born on July 14 at 12:13 p.m. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are George and Darlene Ward of Voorheesville, and maternal grandparents are Jay and Leslie Cafiso of Sag Harbor, New York. Great-grandmothers are Geri Ward of Voorheesville, Joan Kane of South Westerlo, and Connie Cafiso of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
