    He died on April 7, 2026, at home at the age of 81. He died from complications of Alzheimer’s.

    Born on Sept. 20, 1927, he was 98.

    She was born on Aug. 24, 1929, in Albany, to the late John Albert and Margaret Theresa (née Welch) Umholtz.
