The Guilderland, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Voorheesville, and Bethlehem school districts have released the income criteria for students to qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. All four districts have the same standard, based on family size and income.

In order to qualify for free lunch or breakfast, a family of one must have an annual income of less than $15,782. For each additional person in the household, $5,616 is added. So, a household of four must have an income of less than $32,630 to qualify.

Breakfast and lunch also are offered at reduced rates. To qualify, a family of one must have an income of less than $22,459. For each additional person in the household, $7,992 is added. So, a household of four must have an income of less than $46,435 to qualify.
