Orchestra begins season’s rehearsals - New members welcome

BETHLEHEM — The Delmar Community Orchestra will begin rehearsals for its fall-winter season on Monday, Sept. 9, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Delmar Reformed Church at 386 Delaware Ave. in Delmar.

The orchestra, conducted by Michael Blostein, rehearses weekly on Monday evenings at the Bethlehem Town Hall auditorium at 445 Delaware Ave. in Delmar, and will perform a series of four concerts: two concerts for residents of area nursing homes and two public concerts.

New members are always welcome, and instrumentalists of all ages are invited to participate. “Come join us in making music in a fun, supportive atmosphere,” urges a notice from the orchestra.
