GUILDERLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL COLLECTOR’S NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that I, John Rizzo, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes, of the Guilderland Central School District for the Town of Bethlehem, Town of Knox and the Town of New Scotland, have received the tax rolls and warrant for the collection of school taxes.
I will receive all Guilderland Central School taxes for the Towns of Bethlehem, Knox and New Scotland beginning September 1, 2018 to October 1, 2018 with no penalty charge for the collection of the tax.
From October 2, 2018 through October 31, 2018 in accordance with Section 2130 of the Education Law and Section 1328 of the Real Property Tax Law, a penalty will be charged at a rate of 2% for the month of October.
The tax roll and all unpaid taxes will be turned over to Albany County on November 1, 2018 thereafter, the additional fee will be 5% plus interest.
Postmarks of November 1, 2018 will be accepted.
