Chamber announces award winners
GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce and town of Guilderland have announced this year’s Chamber Business Awards and Town Beautification Award winners.
The winners will be celebrated at the 50th Anniversary Annual Awards Dinner on Oct. 13 at Albany Country Club. Each year, a call for nominations goes out through email to members and subscribers, and then a committee decides the final awardees.
This year, both the chamber and town are giving fewer awards in order to honor some of the chamber’s 50-year members: 1st National Bank of Scotia, Key Bank, Guilderland Pump Sales, and Robinsons ACE Hardware Store.
The chamber award winners are:
— Community Resource Federal Credit Union for Best Place to Work;
— Erin Lancraft at Expressive Journeys, LLC for Small Business Person of the Year; and
— Chris Wertman of Legacy Fitness Club for Emerging Professional.
The town beautification award winners are:
— The Guilderland Public Library for Best Renovation/Remodel; and\
— Clover Pond Vineyards for Best New Construction.
