Lee Storm Crosier

EAST BERNE — Lee Storm Crosier, a mother and grandmother who worked as a waitress and in elder care, died on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn with her children by her side. She was 70.

“Lee loved to spend time with her grandchildren,” her family wrote in a tribute.

She was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Leonard and Doris Storm. She graduated from Bethlehem High School with the Class of 1965.

She waitressed at Rest Seekers Inn in East Berne and the Turf Inn in Albany. She worked for the Ann Lee Home and Albany County Nursing Home, retiring in 2009 as an administration aid.

Her husband, George F. Crosier, died in 1999.

She is survived by her children, Monica Filkins Castelli, David Filkins and his wife, Audra, and Marcy Crosier Ashline and her husband, John; by her grandchildren, Wesley Grippin, Morgan Castelli, Olivia Castelli, and Keenan Filkins; by her brothers Richard Storm and his wife, Wendy, and Raymond Storm and his wife, Karen; by her aunt, Margaret Filkins; and by many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Aug. 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home at 199 Main Street in Altamont with a service to follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
