These local students have recently earned diplomas:
— Christopher Shea of Altamont earned a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics technology from the State University of New York at Delhi;
— Stephanie Mason of Altamont, a Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School graduate, earned an associate’s degree in veterinary science technology from the State University of New York at Delhi;
— Theresa Bietka of Schenectady earned a baccalaureate degree from Buffalo State;
— Danielle Macken of Schenectady earned a baccalaureate degree from Buffalo State;
— Sarah Ramage of Altamont received a bachelor of arts degree in management with a concentration in marketing from Emmanuel College in Boston;
— Molly Sloan of Schenectady received a bachelor of arts degree in a double major of liberal studies and elementary education from Emmanuel College in Boston. Sloan graduated magna cum laude and with distinction in the field;
— Chandler Ryan of Delmar graduated after majoring in art and visual culture and English at Bates College in Maine. The child of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis P. Ryan of Delmar, Ryan is a 2015 graduate of the Emma Willard School;
— Faith Cunningham of Slingerlands at the University of New Haven’s College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a concentration in premedical and from the university’s Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, a bachelor of science degree in forensic science with a concentration in biology;
— Taryne Ross of Slingerlands at the University of New Haven College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor of arts degree in music industry;
— Zander Dubin, of Slingerlands, graduated from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology;
— Kyle A. Fountain of Schenectady received a bachelor of science degree in marine biology summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island;
— Emily Jane Welter of Slingerlands received a doctor of pharmacy summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island;
— Hannah N. Willey of Schenectady received a bachelor of science degree in ocean engineering and a bachelor of arts in Spanish summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island; and
— Yi-Chen Lee of Altamont graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Education with a doctor of philosophy degree in curriculum and instruction.
