To the Editor:

As a part of our family nights ministry, the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville invites the community to join us on Thursday, Aug. 22, beginning at 6 p.m. to recognize our first responders.

We will have a fire truck, police car, and ambulance on site along with personnel to share information and to be greeted by the community. We will be providing pizza and ice cream at 6:30 p.m., followed by opportunities to join in discussion for all age levels.

As a part of our family nights ministry, we are also collecting redeemable cans and bottles with the hope of engaging in mission work world-wide. Please plan to join us as we honor those who help to support our community.
