These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Jenna Longo of Delmar was given the Award of Academic Excellence in Anatomy and Physiology at Hudson Valley Community College. Longo is studying in the Liberal Arts and Science: Humanities and Social Science academic program;

— Grace Ayer of Delmar, a student at Ithaca College, was named to the Empire 8 Athletic Conference President’s List;

— Jessica Fleck of Delmar, a student at Ithaca College, was named to the Empire 8 Athletic Conference President’s List;
