Asbury Methodist holds festival

The Asbury Methodist Church on Route 81 in Norton Hill is holding a community festival on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“There will be a climbing wall, a dunk tank, specialty cars on display, music, kids’ games, contests, vendors and lots of fun for everyone,” says a notice from festival organizers.

The church has a thrift shop, which will remain open that day and is hosting some of the festival events. The church’s day-care center will also be open and will be hosting some special storytelling events and games.
