RENSSELAERVILLE — Over 300 people came to see the R’ville Stage Creations production of Shaekespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on July 11 to 13.

“Two under the open sky on the Hilltown Commons lawn, and one cozy rainy evening inside the beautiful Gugg Theater,” said a notice from the troupe. “As one happy guest shared, ‘This wasn’t just a show — it was a whole magical experience.’”

Now the company is seeking actors for its next production, “The Addams Family,” which will be staged in October.

Auditions for anyone 12 or older will be held at Conkling Hall, at 8 Methodist Hill Road in Rensselaerville, on Sunday, Aug 3, at 5 p.m., and on Monday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m.

“Whether you’re a seasoned stage pro or new to the spotlight, we want you to help bring this iconic gothic family to life,” says the notice. “We welcome performers of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities.”
