Join us for Clarksville Heritage Day

To the Editor:

Clarksville Heritage Day will be celebrated on Aug. 4 this year. Save the day!

Events will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clarksville Community Church. A historical exhibit will be on display. There will also be artisans and vendors.

Our 13th annual raffle features a first prize of $1,000; a second prize of a digital camera; a third prize of a pancake compressor and nail gun; a fourth prize of a fishing pole, reel, and tackle box; and a fifth prize of a $150 Visa gift card. The tickets are $5 each. The drawing is at 3 p.m.

In addition, we are holding a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, an all-day bake sale, demonstrations, reptiles on display, and a village-wide garage sale. A free map will be provided.

For more information, please call the committee chairwoman, Karen Riley, at 518-768-2357.

Clarksville Heritage Day is sponsored jointly by the Clarksville Historical Society and the Clarksville Community Church.
