LEGAL NOTICE
Please be advised that on July 1, 2025, at a special meeting, the Town Board of Guilderland (the “Town”) by way of Resolution No. 4 of 2025 voluntarily recognized the Civil Service Employee Association, Inc., Local 1000, AFSCME, AFL-CIO (“CSEA”) as the exclusive representative for a collective bargaining unit of employees in the Town’s Highway Department. The job titles include in this bargaining unit are as follows: all employees of the Town’s Highway Department (excluding the title of Foreman, and elected officials, and those already represented by a union).

The resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on the 9th day of June, 2025, subject to permissive referendum and the period of time has elapsed for the submission and filing of a petition for permissive referendum and a valid petition has not been submitted or filed, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Village of Altamont is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty (20) days after the date of publication of this notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution.
A complete copy of the bond resolution summarized herewith is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Altamont for a period of twenty days from the date of publication of this Notice.

BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 9, 2025 OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ALTAMONT AUTHORIZING NOT TO EXCEED $4,700,000 AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SERIAL GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL FINANCE LAW TO FINANCE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WATER SYSTEM IN THE VILLAGE AT AN ESTIMATED MAXIMUM COST OF $4,700,000, THE EXPENDITURE OF SUCH SUM FOR SUCH PURPOSE, LEVY OF TAX IN ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS IN PAYMENT THEREOF, AND DETERMINING OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
Class of objects or purposes: construction, reconstruction and installation of improvements to the Village water supply/distribution system, including, but not limited to, (1) installation of a water main and associated gate valve and hydrant assemblies from the Town of Guilderland to the Village; (2) installation of one master meter pit at the connection point to the Town’s water main; (3) installation of one new booster pump station; and (4) acquisition of equipment, machinery or apparatus including preliminary costs thereof and costs incidental thereto
Maximum Estimated Cost: $4,700,000
Period of probable usefulness: Forty (40) years
Amount of obligations to be issued: $4,700,000

LEGAL NOTICE
Please take notice that the Town of Berne Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Article 276 of the Town Law, for a Special Use permit for land owned by Partick Hannan located at 65 Main Street, in the Town of East Berne (Parcel ID # 91.-1-13).
A parcel consisting of approximately 1.40 acres is asking for a Special Use permit to have a Liquor Store inside an already existing commercial building.
Said hearing will be held on Thursday August 7,2025 at the Berne Community and Senior Center, 1360 Helderberg Trail, Berne , NY 12023 at 6:30 PM.
