WESTERLO — Denise M. Beck, a homemaker with a hobby farm, died suddenly at her residence on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was 65.

She was born in Schenectady on Sept. 25, 1958, a daughter of the late Roger and Betty Weber Dunican.

“Denise lived in Glenmont and Westerlo and attended Greenville Central School,” her family wrote in a tribute. “She was a homemaker and a member of the Westerlo Rescue Squad. Denise enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, tending to her hobby farm, and cooking.”

She is survived by her husband, Robert Beck Sr.; siblings, Bette Ann VanFonda (Matt Overby) and Todd Dunican (Melissa); children, Jamie Beck, Pat Beck (Sarah Yutesler), Rebecca Dillon (Brendan), and Robert Beck Jr. (Stephanie).

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Cassandra Ray; grandchildren, ShiaLee, Jezmen, Tori, Jayden, Kali, Logan, Alexis, Olivia, Jack, and Liam; by her great-granddaughter, Brynn; and by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, her stepmother, Evelyn Dunican, died before her, as did her sister, Donna Clute, and her best friend, Donna Beattie.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home at 4898 State Route 81 in Greenville.  The funeral will be Thursday, July 25, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Holy Spirit Lutheran Cemetery in Glenmont.
