BERNE — Glenn David Paris was born on May 25, 1946 in Great Neck, New York and died on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by loving family. He was 79.

“He graduated from Carnegie Mellon as an architect and lived his life as a farmer,” his family wrote in a tribute. “Glenn went on to own and run the largest beef cattle farm in New York State, Willow Lane Farm.

“He is survived by three adult children, Alexandra, Molly, and Arlo; many friends, family and neighbors, and a roommate, Susan Paris, the cat.

“May his memory be a blessing.”

There will be a memorial service held at his house on July 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.

At his request, a Jewish burial was held privately.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union.

  • ALTAMONT — Doreen M. Reinemann, who ran a consignment shop and liked taking care of people, died peacefully at her Altamont home on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025. She was 72.

    Born on Aug. 29, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Marion (née Westervelt) Reinemann.
