Join our BioBlitz to identify species in Thacher Park

To the Editor:

Like an extreme nature scavenger hunt, a BioBlitz is a great way to get excited about science, learn about biodiversity, and discover how you can help protect our natural world.

Join guest experts and Thacher State Park educators to explore the park and help us identify as many different species as possible in one day! Habitat, plant, and animal explorations will be scheduled throughout the day, so you can learn more about your favorite topics.

The event is on Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center, 87 Nature Center Way. Call 518-872-0800 for more information.
