Grace Church holds Huge Summer Book Sale

A Huge Summer Book Sale — with between 35,000 to 40,000 titles to choose from, both fiction and non-fiction — will be held this month at Grace United Methodist Church at 16 Hillcrest Drive in Ravena.

There will also be a mini-rummage sale, and breakfast and lunch will be available.

“If you should clean out your bookshelves before the sale, we welcome your donation of those you can bear to part with,” said organizer Joy Mayo.

The sale runs on Thursday and Friday, July 20 and 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, July 22, books may be bought from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hardcover books cost a dollar each; if you buy five, you get one for free. Paperbacks cost 50 cents each; if you buy five, you get one for free.

For more information, call Joy Mayo at (518) 731-8076 or call the church at (518) 756-6688 and leave a message.
