To the Editor:
My parents taught me that it’s never too late to say “thank you.” 

Well, I am a month late, but on behalf of the Altamont Parade Committee, I’d like to extend our grateful thanks to our very generous sponsors: CM Fox, Jeff Thomas, and Lindsey Giagni, State Farm.

Their combined sponsorship allowed us to include the Schenectady Pipe Band as well as Village Volunteers Fife and Drum in our parade! We also want to thank Altamont Volunteer Fire Department and Stewart’s Shops for making our refreshments available for families attending.

We are also thankful for all the folks who made floats, showed their cars, or marched in our effort to honor our fallen vets — well done!

Last but not least, a big thanks for our dear Grand Marshal Cindy Pollard, who has single-handedly taught generations to honor our veterans!

We are already thinking about 2023 — any ideas?
