The bond resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on June 10, 2025, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such bond resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which Guilderland Central School District, in the County of Albany, New York, is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the publication of this Notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF BOND RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO A PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Altamont, Albany County, New York, at a meeting held on June 9, 2025, duly adopted the resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Section 36.00 of the Local Finance Law of the State of New York. If after thirty days of the resolution’s adoption by the Village Board of Trustees, no petition objecting to the resolution and requesting approval by the voters is filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Altamont, the resolution will be declared duly adopted. The proposed maturity of the bonds will be in excess of five (5) years.
ABSTRACT OF BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 9, 2025
The following is a summary of a resolution adopted by the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Altamont, Albany County on June 9, 2025. Said resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of a serial bonds and bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of said serial bonds, in an amount not to exceed $4,700,000. The proceeds from the sale of the obligations authorized in said resolution shall be used for the object or purpose of construction, reconstruction and installation of improvements to the Village water system, including, but not limited to, (1) installation of a water main and associated gate valve and hydrant assemblies from the Town of Guilderland to the Village; (2) installation of one master meter pit at the connection point to the Town’s water main; (3) installation of one new booster pump station; and (4) acquisition of equipment, machinery or apparatus including preliminary costs thereof and costs incidental thereto. The estimated maximum cost of said object or purpose is $4,700,000, and the period of probable usefulness thereof is forty (40) years.

To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person.
