Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of New Scotland, New York will hold public hearings pursuant to Article V, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:
Public Hearings on Special Use Permit Application # 636 and
Special Use Permit Application # 637
Special Use Permit #636 Request submitted by Kasselman Solar, LLC on behalf of Philip Harden for a 20.3 kW ground mounted solar array for the purpose of on=site consumption. The parcel is located at 56 Olive Street, Clarksville, New York, identified as New Scotland Tax Parcel #1061-8.25. This application is a permitted use per Article V Section 190-58, Part I(D)(6)(a) of the Town of New Scotland Zoning Law.
Special Use Permit #637 Request submitted by Maureen and Nicholas Snyder to keep four Alpacas with 60” high cattle fence with t-posts, for fencing around 1.25 – 1.50 acres with placement of a 12’x20’ shelter. The parcel contains 5.2 acres and is located at 19 Deer Meadow Lane (Tax Identification # 74.12-1-10) in the RA zoning district. This application is a permitted use per Section 190-12(D)(5) of the Town of New Scotland Zoning Law.
Hearings will be held in a hybrid format and will take place on July 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in person at New Scotland Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY AND via Zoom Meeting at the link below.

SECTION 001116 INVITATION TO BID
Village of Voorheesville - Water Meter Replacement
Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Village of Voorheesville, 29 Voorheesville Ave, Voorheesville, New York 12186 until 2 pm local time on July 9, 2024. Bid will be opened and reviewed publicly for:
Work shall include, but is not limited to, the replacement of approximately 1,241 water meters at properties within the Village of Voorheesville, including project coordination items.
The Project has developed the following schedule for Substantial and Final Completion. Substantially Completed on or before October 25, 2024, and final completion on or before November 8, 2024.
The Village of Voorheesville will award a single Prime Contract. Bids will be received on an itemized unit price basis.
There will be no Pre-bid Conference.
Bids should not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work.
Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mailbox or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375 which pertains to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents.

Public Hearing/ Legal Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Town of Westerlo Zoning Board of Appeals will be holding a Public Hearing on Monday June 24, 2024 at 7PM for the Citgo Westerlo Deli for two Special Use Permits. The applicant would like to replace the existing sign with a new internally illuminated sign. This new sign would require a variance for an additional 16sqft over the maximum allowed 32sqft and a variance to allow internal illumination and LED price digits for this new sign. The property is located at 585 SR 143, Westerlo, NY. The Hearing will be at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building (Town Hall) located at 933 CR 401 Westerlo.
