I, Patty Blackwood, the undersigned Village Clerk in and for the Village of Altamont, having received the Tax Roll & Warrant for the collection of taxes for 2020, will attend the Village Office, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY from June 1, 2020 until July 01, 2020 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12 noon and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. During the month of June, taxes are payable without penalty. A penalty of 5% (percent) will be added on all taxes remaining unpaid after July 2, 2020 and an additional 1% (percent) will be added on the first of each month thereafter. If Village taxes are not paid by November 5, 2020, the taxes will be returned to the County of Albany for Collection.

COVID Update Town Board Meeting

June 12, 2020

The Town Board of the Town of New Scotland will hold a COVID update meeting on June 12, 2020 at 1PM. Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19 in person attendance will not be permitted. In accordance with the Governors Executive Order 202.1 the meeting will take place remotely via Zoom. The meeting will be recorded and minutes of the meeting will be made available at a later date.
