ALTAMONT — After more than a decade without a demolition derby, the Altamont Fair is bringing the event back for this year’s fair.

The derby — where drivers crash their cars into each other until only one is left — will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18, in front of the grandstand. Competitors will be local drivers in their own cars.
