— Audrey Christine Mielke of Voorheesville, a senior majoring in psychology;

— Michael Pierce of Schenectady, a sophomore majoring in computer science; and

— Glenn Robert Trechel of Schenectady, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering.
 

These local students have been named presidential scholars:

— Megan Elizabeth Becker of Schenectady, a sophomore majoring in engineering and management;

— Abigail M DeFranco of Slingerlands, a sophomore majoring in mathematics; and 

— Timothy Jordan of Schenectady,  a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering.
