Rummage sale on June 15 and 16 will help historic Bethlehem Grange

To the Editor:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Bethlehem Grange 137 has rescheduled our huge rummage sale to Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

All proceeds from our rummage sale will go for the continued revitalization of our historic Grange Hall, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

If you are looking for tools, toys, housewares, linens, collectibles, small furniture, fabric, yarn, craft items, small appliances, small furniture, clothing, antiques, vinyl records, books, music items, jewelry, holiday items, china, glassware, decorative items, antique china cabinets, antique chairs, or clothing, ladies, you’ll find what you're looking for here!

You can also get your oil raffle tickets, while at the rummage sale, for your opportunity to be the lucky recipient of 150 gallons of home heating oil; one ticket costs $10; three tickets cost $25. The value of the oil is over $400. The oil has been donated by George W. Frueh, Sons, of Glenmont. The proceeds of the oil raffle will be going toward the continued revitalization of our historic Grange Hall.

Once again, we are participating in the Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” program. For $5, you can purchase your 25-percent off shopping pass, which gives you 25 percent off of most items all day on  Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The shopping pass is good at all Boscov’s locations. There will be free refreshments, and a chance to win prizes, including three $500 shopping sprees, plus forty-six $100 shopping sprees, one for each Boscov’s store location.

Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” shopping passes are available, for purchase, while shopping at our huge rummage sale. The proceeds of all shopping passes purchased go directly to the Bethlehem Grange. This way, you’re helping yourself save 25 percent on your entire day’s purchases, while helping your local Bethlehem Grange.

We’re located in South Bethlehem at 24 Bridge Street (Route 396 W), one-tenth of a mile west of Route 9W, Selkirk, NY 12158.
