The resolution, a summary of which is  published herewith, has been adopted on June 11, 2024, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the GUILDERLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, in the County of Albany, New York, is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the publication of this Notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution.

BOND RESOLUTION OF THE GUILDERLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, NEW YORK, ADOPTED JUNE 11, 2024, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF (I) INTERNAL COMBUSTION SCHOOL BUSES AND EQUIPMENT, AT THE ESTIMATED COST OF $1,281,000 AND (II) AN ELECTRIC SCHOOL BUSES, AT THE ESTIMATED COST OF $407,500, STATING THE ESTIMATED TOTAL COST THEREOF IS $1,688,500, APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,688,500 SERIAL BONDS OF SAID DISTRICT TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION.
Object or purpose:        the purchase of (i) internal combustion school buses and equipment, at the estimated cost of $1,281,000 and (ii) an electric school buses, at the estimated cost of $407,500.

Period of probable
 usefulness:            five (5) or not more than twelve (12) years

LEGAL NOTICE
I, Patty Blackwood, the undersigned Village Clerk in and for the Village of Altamont, having received the Tax Roll & Warrant for the collection of taxes for 2024, will attend the Village Office, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY from June 1, 2024 until July 1, 2024 Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. During the month of June, taxes are payable without penalty. A penalty of 5% (percent) will be added on all taxes remaining unpaid after July 1, 2024 and an additional 1% (percent) will be added on the first of each month thereafter.  If Village taxes are not paid by November 5, 2024, the taxes will be returned to the County of Albany for Collection.
