Tricia will ask the tough questions

To the Editor:

Tricia Putman volunteers her time so generously to the benefit of our school and community! Whether it’s the Voorheesville Community and School Foundation, Blackbird Garden, PTA, Odyssey of the Mind, Baby Animal Days at Indian Ladder Farms, and other school and community events, through the years Tricia has been a steadfast supporter and leader.

For the Voorheesville School Board to have that type of member would be such an asset. But that’s not all, because, in addition to her tremendous volunteer efforts, Tricia has strong financial expertise — she has a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in taxation, she’s a certified public accountant, and she worked for years in finance and accounting.

Tricia is a great listener and will ask the tough questions that will help guide the board through difficult situations that arise each year with budget constraints and funding deficits.

Her heart and her experience make her a great choice for the Voorheesville School Board!
