St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Avenue in Altamont has an informal Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m., on Sunday, June 12.

At the 11 a.m. service, the sermon is titled "Caution! Spiritual Danger Ahead” based on Galatians 2:15-21.
The combined choirs will sing  "Bonse Aba", arranged by Andrew Fischer.
