Lawrence honored

GUILDERLAND — Mike Lawrence of Guilderland is among the Albany County veterans being honored today, June 9, by the county executive, Daniel P. McCoy.

“I am pleased to be able to recognize these veterans for their courage and service to our nation,” said McCoy in a release from his office. “We enjoy the freedoms we do because of their service and we want to take this time to show them our gratitude and respect.”    

The veterans’ celebration will take place at 11 a.m. in the Cahill Room of the Harold L. Joyce County Office Building at 112 State Street in Albany.
