Enjoy lunch as you hear about becoming assured

The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Patchwork of Living and Bake Sale” luncheon on Tuesday, June 13, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Carman Road, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than June 8 and yo9u must let us know if you are canceling. Please call Nancy at 518-320-2649 or Mae at 518-895-8977 for reservations. On the menu this month is meatloaf and mashed potatoes with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Sharon Root from Brockport, New York will speak on the topic of “From Insecurity to Assurance.” As for the feature, Lisa Wend of Quilters United in Learning Together, known as Q.U.I.L.T., will be displaying her quilts. Peter Jorgenson will sing for us.

We are also having a bake sale for our club’s fixed expenses. If you would like to contribute your favorite baked goods, pre-packaged and priced, it would be greatly appreciated.
