It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets.  Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications, may be viewed online free of charge beginning June 3, 2019 at www.csarchplanroom.com or www.usinglesspaper.com under ‘Public Projects’, or electronically downloaded for a non-refundable charge of forty-nine dollars ($49.00).

Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders.  All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid Opening.  Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 3:30 PM, at Guilderland High School, Large Group Instruction Room (West Drive), 8 School House Road, Guilderland Center, NY 12085. Unless directed otherwise, immediately upon entering the building, report to the Main Office.  Use this page to verify identification as a Bidder.  Attendance of this meeting is requested as the Owner, Architect, and consultants will be present to discuss the Project.  Attendees should anticipate a Q & A session followed by a walk-through of the building and site.  The Architect will transmit to all listed Bidders record of Addenda in response to questions arising at the Conference.

During the month of June taxes are payable without penalty. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be conducted at the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co., Inc 2178 Tarrytown road Clarksville NY 12041 on July 1st, 2019 at 7 p.m. in relation to the proposed purchase and financing by the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fore Co., Inc. of firefighting equipment (fire truck) consisting of a 2019 Ford F350 crew cab 4x4 6.2L V8 gas engine. The fire company proposes to finance $15,000 of the purchase price with a loan/promissory note to the Bank of Greene County.

    The proposed purchase is from Crossroads Ford Ravena for a total sum of $40,222.50. The firefighting equipment is to be used for the provision of the fire protection service to the Town of New Scotland Fire Protection District “pursuant to a contract dated 01/01/2019-12/31/2019 between the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co., Inc and the Town of New Scotland. The fireifghting equipment is to be garaged at 6 Unionville Feura Bush Road, Feura Bush, NY 12067.

    The public hearing, and any subsequent approval of the borrowing and issuance of the obligation, is prerequisites to exemption from income taxation of the interest payable under the terms of such obligation, pursuant to section 103 (and related sections of, and regulations under) of the Internal Revenue Code.

   Persons attending the public hearing will be given the opportunity to make statements in connection with the proposed financing; written comments may be submitted to the Hearing Officer at or prior to the public hearing.
