Tour Guilderland history on June 15

To the Editor:

Guilderland’s two historic houses — the 1802 Federal-period Mynderse-Frederick House at 451 Route 146 in Guilderland Center and the circa 1845 Gothic Revival John L. Schoolcraft House at 2299 Western Ave. in Guilderland — will be open to the public Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Guilderland Historical Society and the Guilderland Garden Club members, who are sponsoring this free event in recognition of New York State’s Path Through History weekend, invite the public to attend.

There will be house tours, flower arrangements in each house, and refreshments — and the award-winning garden at the Mynderse-Frederick House will be on display. For more information, call 5l8-861-8582.
