To the Editor:

With grateful hearts, the Altamont Parade Committee would like to thank the community for supporting our parade again this year.

We are most thankful to those who sponsored our efforts, without whom we could not possibly put the parade on. These generous people include CM Fox and the Bunker (who have been with us from the start!); First National Bank of Scotia; Lindsey Giagni State Farm; Crisafulli Brothers; Long Oil; and Leanne Royer. We are also very grateful to Alena Diane Photography for spending the day capturing special moments both in and around the parade, and editing a wonderful compilation of photos!

So, as we honor our fallen heroes of days past, we thank them for their sacrifice, which allows us to experience the freedom in which we live!
