GUILDERLAND — Gary and Kathy Kline of Guilderland happily announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Tyler Matthew Kellogg, son of Jeff and Lynn Kellogg of Adams Center, New York.

Ms. Kline, a cum laude graduate of both Guilderland High School and the State University of New York College at Potsdam, is a design associate at Taft Furniture in Saratoga. Mr. Kellogg, a graduate of South Jefferson High School and also SUNY College at Potsdam, is the recreation coordinator at Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany.

The couple became engaged on Sept. 7, 2014 at the Comedy Cellar comedy club in New York City. A May 2016 wedding at Orchard Creek Golf Club in Altamont is planned.
